The Waffle Forest initiative successfully conducted a pilot program in the desert of Maricopa, Arizona, from November 2022 to July 2023. The primary objective of this project was to test our proprietary Tree Talker technology and demonstrate its effectiveness in harsh desert conditions. Additionally, we aimed to prove our model's viability by extracting water using our homemade Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG). This pilot program served as a crucial step in validating our approach to creating self-sustaining, eco-friendly forests in desert environments.

The Black Wall Street Forest, conceived by Waffle Forest Build, is a living memorial in the Greenwood district of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The forest comprises 300 mature red Dogwood trees, each standing in memory of a life lost in the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. In addition to acknowledging this historic tragedy, the project fosters healing and unity by transforming a painful past into a symbol of resilience, hope, and renewal. Through this initiative, Waffle Forest Build aims to facilitate community healing, promote environmental justice, and stimulate positive community change.

The Community Gardens for Native Tribes project aims to address the lack of access to fresh fruits and vegetables within native tribes by establishing community-based vertical gardens. The project empowers tribes to grow their own produce using vertical tower gardening techniques. By fostering sustainable practices and promoting community engagement, the project improves food security, nutrition, and cultural ties to traditional farming. These vertical towers maximize space, allowing for efficient crop cultivation while preserving the natural landscape. Through this innovative approach, the project creates sustainable community gardens that support tribes' food security, nutrition, and cultural heritage.

The City of Casa Grande has expressed interest in partnering with Waffle Forest to create a 50-acre forest in the Arizona desert. The city aligns with Waffle Forest's mission and appreciates their innovative approach to combating desertification and improving the environment. They have identified land that meets the requirements of the Urban & Community Forestry Inflation Reduction Act Grants, which will contribute to increasing equitable access to urban tree canopy in disadvantaged communities. The city sees this partnership as a transformative opportunity to enhance green spaces, improve the quality of life for residents, and address the challenges of climate change.

The Cultural & Language Preservation Project, implemented by Waffle Forest in partnership with the San Carlos Apache Tribe, will utilize a self-sustaining, environmentally conscious approach and cutting-edge AI technology to preserve the Apache language and culture, aiming to increase the percentage of Apache language speakers among the younger demographic (44 years and younger) by 20% over the course of one year.
